Is there a subscription?
No. The per-ride plan has no monthly fee. The day pass is a single charge. Student verification is free through your university portal.
What if I keep the bike for 25 minutes?
Your per-ride unlock is 250 IQD. From minute 1 to minute 30, you are charged 80 IQD per minute (no grace period deducted). At minute 30: 250 + 24 × 80 = 2,170 IQD.
How does pausing work?
Lock the bike anywhere inside the geofence. You get a 5-minute grace period with no charge. After that, the bike continues to count at 80 IQD / min until you unlock again.
What happens if I leave the zone?
The bike reminds you with a phone notification. If you keep going, the deadbolt auto-locks within 30 seconds. You will be charged a small relocation fee to bring the bike back inside the fence.
Can I ride with a friend?
Each Farra ride is a single bike. Open the app twice and unlock two bikes — the second ride is free for the first ten minutes.
What about insurance?
Every ride includes basic third-party liability and theft cover for the bike itself. You are responsible for your own person — bring a helmet if you want one (we include one in the basket on request).
